Excited to showcase an extract from one of my latest memoirs at this event. Especially as it was the first day of the Birmingham Literature Festival 2018.
The Society of Authors supported this festival event which attracted various industry professionals in the region.
As a result, I had the opportunity to read my work alongside some very talented local authors and fellow writers. This is one of the benefits of being part of Writing West Midlands’ Room 204 programme.
It started early (10 – 12am) and therefore we made sure our wonderful audience all had a hot drink (or two) and breakfast pastries galore!
